The Field Application Engineer will provide technical expertise and customer support in the field while building strong relationships with clients. You will act as a brand ambassador, contributing to business development, market expansion, and product excellence.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Field Application & Customer Support:
  • ✔ Deliver field application support to customers
  • ✔ Conduct regular customer visits to maintain relationships and identify opportunities
  • ✔ Act as a brand ambassador for the company’s products and services
  • ✔ Provide tailored interconnect solutions and technical recommendations
  • ✔ Support customer database growth and accuracy
• Product & Technical Ownership:
  • ✔ Attain full technical knowledge of products and applications
  • ✔ Take ownership of product performance, updates, and market application
  • ✔ Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Admin, Stores, Accounts, and Management)
  • ✔ Provide internal training and technical assistance as required
• Customer, Supplier & Market Engagement:
  • ✔ Develop strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • ✔ Assist with marketing activities, events, and promotional initiatives
  • ✔ Provide market intelligence to management to support continuous improvement
  • ✔ Foster partnerships with current and potential suppliers
• Business Development & Expansion:
  • ✔ Identify and pursue targeted business opportunities
  • ✔ Support strategic expansion into new markets and regions

• ✔ Grade 12 certificate
• ✔ Recognized technical qualification (preferably Mechatronics)
• ✔ 1–3 years’ experience in technical sales (advantageous)
• ✔ Strong technical acumen and ability to communicate complex concepts

• ✔ Self-motivated, customer-focused, detail-oriented
• ✔ Problem-solving aptitude and strong team collaboration
• ✔ Ability to explain complex technical concepts simply
• ✔ Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools
• ✔ Knowledge of industry standards and RF engineering protocols
• ✔ Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and coordination skills
• ✔ Experience with technical presentations, proposals, and RFP responses
• ✔ Excellent verbal and written communication
• ✔ Effective time management and ability to manage multiple projects
