SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Field Service Systems Engineer to support and maintain advanced control and electrical systems used in underground mining equipment

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for an experienced Field Service Systems Engineer to support and maintain advanced control and electrical systems used in underground mining equipment. The successful candidate will provide on-site technical support, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance services to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability in mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide field service support for underground mining equipment electrical, electronic, and control systems.
Diagnose and resolve faults on mining machines including loaders, drills, and haulage equipment.
Commission and configure control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation on new and existing equipment.
Perform system upgrades, preventative maintenance, and reliability improvements.
Support integration of monitoring systems, automation, and machine diagnostics.
Conduct technical training for operators and maintenance personnel.
Prepare detailed service reports and maintain technical documentation.
Liaise with engineering teams and customers to resolve technical issues.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working with mining or heavy industrial equipment.
Experience with PLC systems, control systems, and industrial communication networks.
Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and electronic systems.
Willingness to travel frequently and work on underground mine sites.
