Finance Administrator

One of South Africa's leading provider of converged communication solutions , is looking for a Finance Admin to join their team based in Midrand

Financial qualification

Experience Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role

Fluent in Afrikaans

Advanced excel skills & experience on a financial system such as Xero or Sage/Pastel

Job description As per job description, listed below

• Administrator and assistant to the group financial manager
• Enter financial data into Sage One Cloud Accounting
• Full Creditors function (capturing & reconciling for payment)
• Checking & capturing employee expense claims
• Creating sales invoices and following up on outstanding debtor amounts
• Provide general accounting support
• Prepare monthly and weekly project costing reports
• Conducting inventory counts and checks
• To assist with any financial or other company related functions within the organisation.
• Travelling Office bound - Might be required to travel to Pretoria once a week. Travel Km will be paid at predefined rate.
• Reporting line Direct line manager - Finance Manager

Working hours Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 or as required.

Starting Package R15,000 CTC - R18 000 per month DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Skills Required

• Expertise in numbers and good math skills are very important
• The resource must have knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis
• Must be able to collect, evaluate and interpret data, in both statistical and narrative form
• Should be capable of preparing files and maintaining records and documentation
• Should have good written and oral communication skills
• Other skills required are related to problem solving, entering and verifying data, knowledge of
• computers, various software applications and standard office equipment
