SUMMARY:
My Focus client in the Mining industry is currently in the market for a qualified CA(SA) to take up a role as a Finance Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative management at the entity within the Operations Support Services and provide guidance and system requirements (project administration, cost control and accounts management) for investment.

POSITION INFO:

My Focus client in the Mining industry is currently in the market for a qualified CA(SA) to take up a role as a Finance Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative management at the entity within the Operations Support Services and provide guidance and system requirements (project administration, cost control and accounts management) to support the investments in various Group projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years in a similar role in the mining industry.

Qualifications and Experience:

CA(SA)
10 -15 years’ experience
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in project accounting in respect of full life cycle including pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies, implementation for projects in excess of R5 billion.
Mining industry experience (essential)
Staff management
Post investment reviews
Project Governance
Management of project spend
Management of work in progress
