A reputable concern with a global footprint is looking for a Finance Director to join their team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and aligning the Finance function of an operating company through the development and implementation of a functional strategy and operating model. The Finance Director will be responsible for identifying and managing business and financial risks in an operating company as well as defining and controlling a finance value chain function’s budget. The Finance Director will be responsible for budgeting and cost management, financial management and financial reporting.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 8-10 years’ post article experience
At least 3-4 years’ experience in a senior manager role
Experience in retail/manufacturing/service providing industry is preferred
Strategic orientation
Strong business acumen
Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong people management and leadership skils
