SUMMARY:

Our client is looking for a candidate with strong finance background to be a Finance director in their company. The successful individual should have strong analytical skills, be a strategic thinker, have exceptional communication skills and outstanding business acumen. The ideal fit for this role would be an individual with an outgoing personality and works will in a team as a manager.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Directing financial planning and strategy;
Analysing and reporting on financial performance;
Overseeing audit and tax functions;
Developing and implementing accounting policies;
Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets;
Training accounting staff;
Reviewing departmental budgets;
Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk;
Analysing complex financial data;
Managing internal controls.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric);
BCom Accounting degree;
BCom Honours/ CTA;
Qualified Chartered Accountant.

Experience:

Completed SIACA articles within a well-established audit firm;
5-7 years post article experience and have strong commercial and operational exposure;
Capability to communicate with multiple stakeholders at a senior level;
Financial management experience in a listed company;
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles.
