Finance Intern (Learnership)

• Processing account payables, and account receivables transactions (ACCPAC)
• Performing bank entry transactions to clear both accounts payables & receivables and direct bank entry transaction capturing (ACCPAC)
• Compiling monthly project financial report
• Ensuring document validity, accuracy, and completeness
• Verifying that documents supporting payments are authentic
• Resolve all bank queries e.g., bank charges, unknown deposit etc
• Following up on outstanding debtors
• Issuing and receiving of invoices
• Ensuring that fixed asset register is up to date and maintained
• Performing asset counts
• Preparing management accounts/ Financial statements for projects (Statement of profit or loss, Statement of financial position, Statement of change in equities, and
  Statement of cash flows)
• Preparing audit files for external audit purposes
• Frontline personnel for audits and compiling audit files
• Project specific bookkeeping on SAGE ONE
• Performing transaction analysis and allocation
• Creating payment requisitions
• Document filing for audit purposes and finance records
• Bank, creditors’, and debtors’ reconciliations
  Credit card management

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
• Person needs to be available for the 1st April.
• Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal. Must have some understanding of local languages.
