JOB SUMMARY:
Draft GRAP compliance consolidated annual financial statements on Caseware and Responsible for Corporate annual budget and ensuring adherence to these budgets in the next financial year - Temp (Until 31 August 2022)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position will be until 31 August 2022, but may be converted to a full time role.

Key Responsibilities:

Fill the role ofManagement Accountantand act as Financial Manager while Financial
Manager is onmaternity leave.
Draft GRAP compliance consolidated annual financialstatements on Caseware.
Responsible forCorporate annual budget andensuring adherence to these budgets in the next financial year
Forecasting, variance, cost and sensitivity analysis
Regulatory compliance and reporting
Provide input and analysis fordecision making
Reviewmonthly,quarterly,interim and year-end resultsincluding commentaryfor submission to Chief Financial Officer.
Reviewupdates to the business on the performance offinancialKey Performance
Indictors across the business
Guide the finance team to provide commercial insight and analysis of business performance, identifying underlying trends and challenging the business performance.
Provide analysis and insight on specific issues, such as financial modelling, business plans and investmentsetc.
Communicate to Finance team members and stakeholders.
Anticipateand mitigatepotential issuesaround financial reportingto ensure GRAP compliance.
Implement appropriate mitigationsaround financial risk
Develop strong peer andstakeholder relationships
Assist in planning and execution of complex finance and consolidation solutions
Participate in financial systemimplementation
Ensure financial governance, internal controls and compliance to the Group’s standards and reporting requirements are achieved.
Ensure legislative and corporate governance compliance requirementsand managing the associated risk.
Reviewinggroupconsolidation entries for accuracy
Performing consolidated high-level results checks
Resolving queries and issues from internal and externalauditors.
Ensure all finance team isknowledgeable on changes to GRAP
Enhancethe control environmentwhere necessary
Assist in documenting processes and identifying key controls to mitigaterisks.

Specific skills & experience required:

Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
3-5 years'' post articles experience
Experiencein financial or business management within the financial services industry, whether during training or after
Experience in development finance (desired, not compulsory)
In-depth knowledge ofGRAPand IFRS standards
Caseware GRAP experience
Caseware consolidation experience
Knowledge of financial services business performance dynamics and drivers
Experience in financial control and process improvement
Strong communication skills (written and oral
