FINANCIAL MANAGER TO BE BASED IN ROODEPOORT, GAUTENG.

They are looking for a FINANCIAL MANAGER to ensure the financial health, stability, and efficiency of the company.

In this role, you will oversee financial planning, optimize cash flow, implement cost controls, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insights that drive business growth. You will also lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, playing a key role in shaping their financial strategy.

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE:

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with at least 3 years experience as a Financial Manager, demonstrating a proven track record in financial planning, cash flow management, and cost control, including experience at an executive level.
Strong proficiency in financial software, including QuickBooks, SimplePay, and MS Office.
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to develop and manage a high-performing finance team while driving operational efficiency and process improvements.
Clear criminal and fraud records as well as ITC/credit profile

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Financial Recording and Reporting:

Ensure the accurate and timely capturing of all financial data.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Process and Efficiency Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Implement best practices and streamlined processes to optimize financial operations.

Cost Management:

Monitor and control company expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to achieve financial efficiency.
Promote a lowest-cost mindset within the organization.

Cash Flow and Cash Runway Management:

Oversee cash planning to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
Manage working capital and optimize cash flow to support business objectives.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

Stakeholder Communication:

Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Communicate financial performance and key metrics to stakeholders.

Leadership & Team Development:

Lead and mentor a finance team.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support organizational growth and development
