SUMMARY:
Umhlanga. We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Finance Manager to join a well-established group operating in property development and management, asset management and retail leasing. The portfolio is diversified across retail, commercial, industrial, and logistics properties.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this role will oversee the full finance function and manage a team of six Accountants, playing a key role in financial control, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Provide overall financial management and leadership of the finance team
Generate, analyse, and present financial data to support business decisions
Compile, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the Board
Review financial documentation to ensure tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes
Liaise and collaborate with internal departments to achieve financial and operational objectives
Ensure robust financial controls, policies, and procedures are maintained

Key Requirements:

CA(SA) preferred, or BCom Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 3 years’ completed articles
5–8 years’ experience in a finance role
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar Finance Manager or senior finance role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Solid knowledge of financial regulations and requirements within the property / retail sector

Pastel Accounting (essential)
MDA (essential)
Sage VIP (advantageous but not required)
SARS eFiling (essential)
