SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for Finance Manager based in Cape Town with strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, cost reporting, commitments, accruals, variations, and financial close-out.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities Experience on EPC, oil and gas, petrochemical, tank farm, terminal, infrastructure, energy, or major industrial projects is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, cost reporting, commitments, accruals, variations, and financial close-out. Working knowledge of South African tax, VAT, statutory reporting, exchange control, procurement governance, and financial compliance requirements. Ability to interpret EPC contracts, payment milestones, commercial schedules, change orders, securities, and financial risk provisions. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP, project controls, or cost management systems is preferred. Strong analytical, reporting, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to senior management and non-financial stakeholders. High level of integrity, commercial judgement, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is strongly preferred. Minimum 8-12 years' finance experience, with at least 5 years in project finance, construction finance, cost control, or capital projects.
