SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Handle the full accounting function of a business that does R80 Million per Annum

Take books to audit level within business

Excellent knowledge on tax

Able to calculate company taxes, dividend taxes, VAT and know how this is submitted to SARS

Take books to audit level within business

Handling of cross divisional transactions

Payroll functions

Have a massive sense of urgency

Able to work in a Fast paced and high-pressure environment

Always meet deadlines and work overtime to meet these deadlines

Hands on and do the work rather than rely on others to do the work for them

Attention to detail is critical

Task orientated

Able to lead team in finance department with excellent management skills and able to take charge of this division within the business and lead the team

Excellent communication skills and experience in dealing with high level negotiations

Proactive in resolving issues

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or Financial Manager

Able to work in a Fast paced and high-pressure environment

Led a team of at least three people in the past

Experience in doing payroll monthly and submissions of EMP201, EMP501

In-depth knowledge of Pastel Partner

Understand the back end of Pastel Partner

Excellent MS Excel skills

Qualification:

Tertiary Qualification in Finance
