Finance Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a long established chemical manufacturer, a division of a JSE Listed Group, currently seeks a Financial Manager, who has strong leadership abilities and is results-orientated.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

• CA (SA).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Financial Management role.
• Proven track record in established & start-up businesses.
• A passion for a fast-paced, flexible working environment.
• Superior IFRS, MS Office and Excel (in particular) skills and knowledge.
• Syspro system experience would be an advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the CEO:

• Responsible and accountable for the Financial function of two divisions.
• Prepare budgets, financials and cash forecasts.
• Involvement in strategic management.
• Accurate presentation of Management reporting information.
• Provide a high standard of financial controls and strong directional financial leadership.
• Effective management of working capital.
• Support Procurement in the context of strict cashflow control.
• Ensure adherence to the Group reporting standards and policies.
• Identify and communicate key risks to Senior Management.
• Maintain the integrity of accounting systems.
• Manage a cohesive and effective Financial team.
• Develop and mentor reportees.
• Develop financial models to guide decision making and provide information to Management for effective decision making.
