SUMMARY:
Our client, a long established chemical manufacturer, a division of a JSE Listed Group, currently seeks a Financial Manager, who has strong leadership abilities and is results-orientated.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

CA (SA).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Financial Management role.
Proven track record in established & start-up businesses.
A passion for a fast-paced, flexible working environment.
Superior IFRS, MS Office and Excel (in particular) skills and knowledge.
Syspro system experience would be an advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the CEO:

Responsible and accountable for the Financial function of two divisions.
Prepare budgets, financials and cash forecasts.
Involvement in strategic management.
Accurate presentation of Management reporting information.
Provide a high standard of financial controls and strong directional financial leadership.
Effective management of working capital.
Support Procurement in the context of strict cashflow control.
Ensure adherence to the Group reporting standards and policies.
Identify and communicate key risks to Senior Management.
Maintain the integrity of accounting systems.
Manage a cohesive and effective Financial team.
Develop and mentor reportees.
Develop financial models to guide decision making and provide information to Management for effective decision making.
