Datacentrix is looking for a Finance Manager with CA (SA) with 1 -2 min post article experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications

CA(SA)
1-2 years post articles experience

Key Responsibilities

Management of the wider Group finance team to ensure agreed deadlines are set and met
Accurate and timely completion of allocated work
Ensure journal entries are properly supported and reviewed before posting,
Review of complete GL recon files provided within the set deadlines with any issues escalated
Daily operational issues addressed and resolved in a timely manner with appropriate escalation
Accurate commission calculations sent out in a timely manner
Completion and review of key group finance schedules prior to submission
Regular review and updates where necessary of Finance policies as allocated
Involvement in internal and external audits ensuring no material issues are noted
Drive system improvements where reporting is inaccurate or can be implemented to create efficiencies
Appropriate work allocations are in place, Performance management objectives are clearly defined and measured against for each staff member, Training plans are in place where necessary
