SUMMARY:

Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager (Insurance) – CA(SA)

We are looking for a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with insurance sector experience to join our client’s dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and risk management within a fast-paced and evolving industry.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS 17 and other accounting standards.
Manage statutory reporting, regulatory submissions, and liaise with the Prudential Authority.
Conduct risk assessments and implement financial controls to support strategic decision-making.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Collaborate with actuarial and underwriting teams to optimize financial performance.
Drive process improvements and ensure robust governance frameworks.

Key Requirements:

CA(SA) qualification with post-articles experience in life or short-term insurance.
Strong knowledge of IFRS 17, SAM, and regulatory reporting within the insurance industry.
Expertise in financial modeling, risk management, and strategic financial planning.
