SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Finance Officer for a 2-year contract based in Rivonia, Gauteng

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Degree in Accounting, Finance / Business Admin, and completed SAICA/SAIPA/ACCA Articles
5+ years’ experience in financial admin, bank recons, creditor process and procurement procedures
Exposure to Global Fund experience advantageous
Payroll knowledge, payroll taxes and benefits admin as well as extensive MS Office experience

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Creditors recon / processing – Recon preparation, orders vs invoices, check GL accounts, capture invoices, load payments, ensure bank details match, creditors age analysis, supplier recons, process invoices on accounts payable schedule, reconcile balance sheet and deal with queries
Accounts receivable – check timesheets vs charged out, verify payments, ensure supporting documents correct and from relevant bank account, payment requests
Payroll processing – Capture payroll and verify info, Vat 201 return and submissions, EMP201 return and submissions, cost analysis reports
Petty cash – reconciliation, office disbursement, full cash management
Reporting – journals, allocations, cashbook, bank recons, GL recons, clearing of queries
Governance / controls – audit reports, document archiving, ensure correct data capture, and ensure SARS compliance
