POSITION INFO:
Our client is one of South Africa's leading hospitality and property groups, where finance plays a vital role in supporting multiple properties and business units. This is more than an accounting role, it's an opportunity to gain exposure across financial reporting, procurement, management accounting, compliance and operational finance while working alongside experienced finance leaders in a dynamic, multi-entity environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare journals, accruals, provisions, and month-end adjustments Review general ledger transactions, VAT, and financial allocations Support accounts payable, supplier payments, and procurement finance Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and financial schedules Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis Assist with annual financial statements and reporting Support VAT reconciliations, audits, and statutory compliance Maintain strong financial controls across multiple business units Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and finance projects Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls, and finance processes Job Experience and Skills: BCom Accounting, CIMA, CA(SA), or related accounting qualification Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting Experience with accounts payable, VAT and reconciliations Advanced Microsoft Excel skills ERP or procurement system experience advantageous Strong understanding of IFRS and accounting principles Experience working across multiple entities or business units beneficial Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and stakeholder management ability If you're looking for a finance role that offers more than just month-end reporting, one where you'll gain exposure across procurement, reporting, compliance and business partnering within one of South Africa's leading hospitality groups, then we'd love to hear from you!
