Are you a CA(SA) with strong financial management experience and a passion for turning complex financial data into meaningful business insight?
Our client is looking for an exceptional Financial Reconciliations Manager to take ownership of a critical finance function within a dynamic and high-performing organisation based in Umhlanga.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong finance professional who thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment and enjoys getting into the detail while still seeing the bigger commercial picture.

POSITION INFO:
Your key responsibilities will include: Lead and oversee complex financial reconciliations across multiple accounts and business areas. Ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial data. Investigate and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies and variances. Drive robust financial controls and reconciliation processes. Manage month-end, year-end and reporting deadlines. Review and analyse financial information to identify trends, risks and anomalies. Partner with senior stakeholders and operational teams to resolve financial issues. Provide meaningful financial insight and recommendations to management. Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies. Lead, mentor and develop finance team members. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies and internal controls. Non-negotiables: CA(SA) qualification 5+ years' relevant post-qualification experience Minimum 5 years' experience in a Financial Manager \/ senior finance management role Strong technical accounting and financial management expertise Proven experience managing complex reconciliations and resolving discrepancies Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Excellent attention to detail Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills
