POSITION INFO:
My client, a globally established technology company, is seeking a passionate Senior Software Developer to join their innovative team in Cape Town. This role offers the opportunity to build and enhance scalable platforms that serve millions of users worldwide, focusing on delivering seamless, high-quality solutions. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team to drive technical excellence, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Skills & Experience:
Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions.
Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and security.
Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
Contribute to architectural decisions and drive continuous improvement in development processes.
Engage in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience.
Exposure to leading or mentoring team members is highly desirable.
Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and API development is advantageous.
