Are you passionate about the intersection of Finance and Technology? Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking for an experienced finance systems professional to drive the optimisation and governance of its enterprise financial reporting environment.

POSITION INFO:
This is a unique opportunity to play a strategic role in modernising finance through automation, data governance, and financial systems innovation while supporting complex group reporting across an international business. You are analytical, solutions-driven, and passionate about improving finance through technology. You enjoy solving complex reporting challenges, collaborating across technical and finance teams, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced corporate environment. Duties: Manage and enhance the Group financial consolidation and reporting environment. Maintain consolidation structures, metadata, business rules, reporting outputs, and period-end processes. Strengthen finance data governance and ensure the integrity of financial master data. Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance reporting function. Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve reporting efficiency. Partner with Finance, IT, Reporting, and external vendors to deliver technology-enabled solutions. Support system enhancements, integrations, testing, access controls, and governance frameworks. Ensure reporting platforms remain stable, secure, and audit-ready during critical reporting cycles. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom in Accounting or a related field. BCom Honours \/ CTA CA(SA) Experience: Completed SAICA Articles. 4-5+ years' experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, finance systems, or finance transformation. Practical experience with enterprise consolidation systems such as Oracle HFM or similar platforms. Strong understanding of: Group consolidations IFRS reporting Intercompany eliminations Foreign currency translation Financial data governance Experience working across Finance and IT environments. Exposure to finance transformation, automation, systems integration, analytics, or cloud finance technologies will be advantageous. Experience within Financial Services or Insurance is highly beneficial. Skills & Competencies: Financial Consolidation Systems (HFM or equivalent) Financial Reporting & Consolidations Metadata & Master Data Management Finance Data Governance Process Automation Business Rules & Validation Frameworks Systems Integration Reporting Controls & Audit Readiness Advanced Excel Power BI or reporting tools (advantageous) If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
