SUMMARY:
I am looking for a newly qualified CA(SA) (or close equivalent) to join a growing, operationally focused FMCG business based in Hout Bay. This is an onsite role offering handsâon exposure, real responsibility from day one, and a clear pathway into a broader finance role over time.
This opportunity will suit someone with a solid accounting foundation, strong systems aptitude, and the ambition to grow beyond a traditional reporting role.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
Full monthâend close, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
Preparation and review of management accounts in line with IFRS
Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring data integrity
Working closely with operational teams to understand business drivers
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Leveraging ERP systems and Excel to improve reporting and processes
Assisting with audits and statutory compliance
Taking ownership of finance processes as the role develops

Skills & Experience:
Strong accounting fundamentals (month end, IFRS, reconciliations, controls)
Clear systems aptitude - ERP exposure, strong Excel, comfortable working with data
Curious, proactive, and willing to take responsibility early
Ambitious and keen to grow into a broader finance role over time
Stable track record, ideally having completed at least one full cycle in a role
Advantageous (not essential):
Microsoft Business Central
Manufacturing or costing exposure
Maritime or engineeringâlinked industries
Power BI or reporting tool exposure

Qualification:
Newly qualified CA(SA) or close equivalent (CIMA / SAIPA / BCom + articles)
