• Manage daily financial operations, including cash management and payment approvals.
• Oversee monthly financial accounting and reporting, including producing management accounts and handling VAT returns.
• Execute payroll and related submissions using SAGE 300 & ESS and SARS Easyfile.
• Prepare and submit various statutory returns to SARS, FSCA, ASISA, and StatsSA on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Conduct quarterly and annual audits for five entities.
• Provide financial reporting for shareholders and manage client invoicing.
• Monitor and manage budgets, debtors, and leave administration.
• Support strategic initiatives with tasks like BBB-EE verification and risk management.

Requirements:

• A relevant graduate or postgraduate qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in a financial accountant role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems like SAGE Pastel Express and payroll systems like SAGE 300 & ESS.
• Proficiency in statutory submission platforms like SARS e-filing and SARS Easyfile.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanour.
• Strong ethics and an awareness of fiduciary duties.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
