SUMMARY:
Exciting growth opportunity within a well established Finance Company for a customer focused and articulate individual. Take ownership of all operational and financial aspects and streamline functions within the organization. A financial qualification, preferably CA(SA) as well as 5 years FICA/ FAIS, taxation and compliance knowledge is essential.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

Financial qualification essential – CA(SA) would be preferable
Strong tax knowledge preferable;
Passion for back-office administration essential;
Articulate, well-spoken and attentive to detail;
Customer focus absolutely essential;
Well-presented and professional;
Integrity and trust essential;
Experienced, mature individual with minimum 5 years multi-divisional experience;
Financial sector experience essential with strong knowledge of financial markets;
Knowledge of compliance (FICA, FAIS);
Knowledge of retirement products in relation to investments;
Proficient in MS Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel in particular and knowledge of or experience with CRM or BDA systems preferable

Duties / Functions

Management of complete finance and operations functions and oversight of admin and office staff;
Oversight and management of office functions, including but not limited to:-
Ownership of financial function including monthly payments, management accounts, liaising with bookkeeper and auditors;
Effective leadership of all office administration.
Ownership of the compliance function for the business;
Ownership of the monthly statement process to clients;
Management reporting, including preparation of Board packs;
Ad-hoc client correspondence;
IT system knowledge and liaising with external IT providers;
Compliance – completion of FAIS examinations essential;
Represent the office to clients, potential clients and third parties
Ensure compliance with internal and external policies across the business;
Energise the administration function;
Implementation, where appropriate, effective systems and procedures for efficient functioning of the office
