POSITION INFO:
Our client is a well-established private wealth management firm. They are known for their professional standards, long-standing client relationships, and disciplined financial processes. The business operates in a highly regulated environment, which means precision, compliance and trust are non-negotiable. This is a full-time, office-based role within a dynamic finance team. You will support the Treasury function and assist with tax administration, working closely with the Financial Manager and Financial Director. The environment is structured, fast-paced, and built on accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration of the Treasury function, including onboarding client static details and ensuring FICA compliance for individuals and entities
Daily preparation of Treasury payments for review and approval
Collection and coordination of client tax certificates from various investment houses
Preparation of Forex Balance of Payments (BOP) forms for international transactions
Preparation and submission of personal and company tax returns, ensuring full compliance with SARS requirements
Ad hoc cashbook postings into Xero in support of the broader finance team

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related field (advantageous)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an administrative role
Minimum 3 years’ experience engaging with SARS and/or preparing personal and company tax returns under the guidance of a registered tax practitioner
Experience capturing creditor and/or treasury payment instructions
Proven client service experience within a professional environment
Strong administrative and organisational skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Working knowledge of Xero (advantageous)
Sound understanding of basic finance processes including reconciliations and data capturing
Strong understanding of confidentiality and compliance within a regulated environment
