SUMMARY:

We are currently partnering with a well-established and growing organisation based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town to recruit a dynamic and driven Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional with strong operational exposure who is eager to take ownership of the full accounting function within a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Full accounting function up to trial balance
Monthly management accounts and reporting
Reconciliations (bank, creditors, debtors, and general ledger)
VAT submissions and statutory compliance
Fixed asset management and journal processing
Cash flow management and forecasting
Assisting with audits and year-end financial statements
Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies

Minimum Requirements:

BCom Accounting or similar relevant qualification
±4 years’ experience in an accounting role
Strong operational / transactional accounting experience
Proven ability to manage the full function independently
Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
High attention to detail with a proactive mindset

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
