SUMMARY:

A well-established and fast-growing telecommunications company based in Fourways is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional with strong technical accounting skills, completed articles, and approximately 5 years of post-article experience.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Perform month-end and year-end close processes. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances. Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Prepare VAT, tax, and other statutory submissions. Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors. Monitor financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Analyse financial performance and provide insights to management. Assist with process improvements and finance-related projects. Minimum Requirements BCom Accounting or related finance qualification. Completed SAICA\/SAIPA articles (highly advantageous). Approximately 5 years post-article accounting experience . Experience within the telecommunications, technology, ICT, or related industry will be advantageous. Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working on ERP\/accounting systems. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Competencies Strong problem-solving and analytical ability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
