POSITION INFO:

Financial Accountant

Bcom Honors or B.compt Articles with 2 yrs post Article exp. SAP FI experience is not negotiable and essential for this position. IFRS knowledge.

Duties include:

Loadingsundry payments on actual bank and submitting for authorisation

Loading salaries and wages

Advise on appropriate ledgerswhen purchases are made, or orders are placed

Create asset numbers and KMP when Fixed Assets are purchase

Save IFRS 16 DCS file on the lease folder, update and save any newlease agreements on folder.

Upload payroll files into the ledger and reconcile uploaded ledger entries to VIP supporting documents.

Identify provisions and accruals and send to FM/FICO head for review

Ensure Cashbook is finalized on time

Perform FX revaluations after once all transactions denominated in foreign currencies are done.

Download TM5 balances (reconciling tool for IC balances)

Perform GIT calculation and submit to FM for approval before doing the posting.

Check reconciliation documents for local and foreign creditors

Running transaction for fixed asset depreciation and check the results

Maintain fixed assets registeron SAP

Calculating Treasury loan account interest in C04 Corp TTP and ensure calculated amount is correct

Download Vat output and input schedule for previous month as well as customs VAT.

Download expenses in Shared Cost centres and calculate the monthly charges between rail and truck

Run schedules for refundable expenses. Submit to FM for review and authorisation.
