SUMMARY:
We’re looking for Financial Accountants with experience in the property industry to join a growing team. This role focuses on full-function accounting, reporting, and adding value through insights that drive business performance.

POSITION INFO:
Our client, a well-established and growing player in the property sector, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a commercial accounting role and put your training into action in a dynamic, asset-rich environment.
Reporting directly to the Financial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the full financial function, ensuring accurate reporting and contributing to the overall financial health of the company’s property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts
Perform reconciliations (bank, creditors, debtors, inter-company)
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Handle VAT calculations and submissions

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: BCom Accounting Degree
Professional: Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
Experience: Minimum 1 year post-articles experience preferred
Industry: Exposure to the property sector during articles is essential
