SUMMARY:
A food manufacturing company in Cape Town is seeking the expertise of a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic and fast-paced team.
This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management to support the company’s operational and strategic goals.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit cash flow forecasts and reports
Manage and control capital expenditure (CAPEX) workflows
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and capture monthly journals
Conduct internal audits on processes and cost controls
Manage accounts payable and supplier payment cycles
Review and manage IFRS 16 lease contracts
Control and maintain instalment sale agreements
Support external audits and respond to audit queries
Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures
Manage verification and movement processes for fixed assets

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
5–7 years of experience in a financial accounting or related role
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Experience with SYSPRO will be an advantage, but is not crucial
Manufacturing industry experience will be a strong advantage

Skills & Attributes

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Analytical thinker with sound problem-solving ability
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Strategic mindset with strength in forecasting and reporting

Total CTC before deductions : R60 000.00 non negotiable
