SUMMARY:
Are you a technically strong and detail-driven finance professional looking to make an impact in South Africa’s mortgage finance landscape? We’re looking for a Financial Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused and highly regulated environment and who brings both precision and passion to the numbers.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Manage full financial accounting and general ledger functions
Prepare monthly financial statements and board reporting packs
Support budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles
Execute IFRS-compliant accounting and statutory submissions
Perform reconciliations, financial controls & audit support
Monitor loan book accounting, provision models & interest calculations
Partner with internal stakeholders to improve processes and reporting
Ensure compliance with finance, regulatory & lending standards

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Accounting / Finance (Honours advantageous)
SAICA / SAIPA articles (or similar experience) preferred
2–4 years accounting experience (financial services advantage)
Strong IFRS knowledge IFRS 9 exposure beneficial
Solid Excel & financial reporting skills
