POSITION INFO:
Our client is a well-established player in the logistics and supply chain sector, known for their commitment to efficiency, reliability, and exceptional service delivery. They operate within a high-volume, fast-moving environment where accuracy, teamwork, and strong financial governance are key to keeping operations running seamlessly. As the Financial Accountant, you will take responsibility for the full financial accounting function and support the business in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and timely processing. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can manage multiple priorities, and brings strong technical accounting knowledge to a complex operational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and management accounts
Perform general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and journal processing
Assist in month-end and year-end close-off processes
Manage fixed asset registers and ensure accurate depreciation calculations
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cashbook functions
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Job Experience and Skills Required:
BCom degree in a related field
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
1+ years post article experience
