Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full financial function from GL to trial balance and financial statements
Prepare and review reconciliations, journals, and monthly financial reporting
Maintain cost controls and ensure the accurate allocation of job costs
Support project teams with financial insight and budget adherence
Oversee creditors, cashbook, and daily accounting processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and construction reporting requirements
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom in Accounting
3–5 years accounting experience
BuildSmart (Construction) experience—non-negotiable
Full exposure to the full finance function (GL, recons, TB, up to financial statements)
Strong Excel skills
Experience in the construction industry strongly preferred
High attention to detail, resilience under pressure, and strong organisational ability
