Welcome to the edge of finance and technology - where code meets capital and innovation rewrites the rules. An exciting, forward-thinking player in the Web3 and digital asset space is searching for a bold, curious Web3 Accountant to join their growing Cape Town team.
This is not your traditional accounting seat. You’ll sit at the intersection of finance, crypto, and cutting-edge tech, working with Bitcoin transactions, digital assets, and next-gen financial models. No prior Web3 exposure is needed - just sharp accounting fundamentals, strong analytical thinking, and a genuine love for the IT and innovation space.
If you’re an outgoing, strong Management / Cost Accounting professional who thrives in fast-paced, non-traditional environments, this could be the most exciting move of your career.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage accounting records within a digital asset and Bitcoin environment
Process and reconcile transactions across multiple platforms and wallets
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions
Assist with audit preparation and financial controls
Work closely with tech teams to translate digital activity into financial insight
Support continuous improvement in systems, reporting, and automation
Engage with stakeholders across both finance and IT landscapes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
Strong Management and/or Cost Accounting foundation
A genuine interest in Bitcoin, digital assets, and the IT space
Outgoing personality with the confidence to engage across teams
Strong Excel and systems ability
Curious mindset with the ability to adapt and learn quickly
No prior Web3 experience required training will be provided
