SUMMARY:
Are you a recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role? Our client, a leading IT company based in Cape Town’s vibrant City Bowl, is seeking a Group Accountant to join their growing finance team.

POSITION INFO:
Group Accountant (Newly qualified CA(SA))
Location: Cape Town, City Bowl
Industry: Information Technology

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review group financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
Assist with monthly reporting, management accounts, and statutory compliance.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for multiple entities.
Coordinate audit processes and maintain strong internal controls.
Drive process improvements and contribute to strategic financial planning.

Requirements:

CA(SA) qualification (recently qualified).
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and consolidation principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel; ERP experience advantageous.
Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment.
