SUMMARY:
If spreadsheets are your love language and balance sheets spark joy, this one’s for you. A growing group with cross-border operations is on the hunt for a sharp Financial Accountant who enjoys owning the numbers and keeping everything squeaky clean. This role sits within a well-established group operating across South Africa and Namibia. You’ll step into a hands-on accounting position where accuracy, structure, and follow-through actually matter. This is not a “tick-box” role, you’ll be trusted with real responsibility and end-to-end financial processes.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Manage payroll, supplier payments, and statutory submissions
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the asset register
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with tax legislation and internal controls

Job Experience and Skills Required

CA(SA) with a BCom in Accounting (Honors advantageous)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant / Senior Accountant role
Exposure to multi-entity or group structures preferred
Strong working knowledge of Xero and CaseWare
Advanced Excel skills
Payroll experience (SimplePay advantageous)
Solid understanding of VAT and tax legislation
