Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements in accordance with IFRS 17 and other reporting standards.
Execute monthâend and yearâend processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
Work closely with actuarial and finance teams to ensure accurate financial modelling and reporting.
Support audit processes and ensure full compliance with shortâterm insurance regulatory requirements.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- BCom Accounting / BCom Honours (CA(SA) advantageous)
Experience:
- 3–5 years’ experience in financial accounting within shortâterm insurance
- Strong practical experience with IFRS 17
- Exposure to financial systems such as SAP/Oracle/IFRS 17 engines (advantageous)
Skills:
- Advanced Excel and strong numerical capability
- Solid understanding of technical accounting principles
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholderâmanagement skills
NonâNegotiables:
- Proven shortâterm insurance industry experience
- IFRS 17 handsâon exposure
