Company and Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial reports and supporting working papers.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies or accounting errors.
• Prepare journal entries, trial balances, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Assist with budget preparation and rolling forecasts.
• Conduct financial and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
• Maintain intercompany loan accounts and shareholder loan schedules.
• Review and release creditor payments in line with internal controls.
• Assist with the annual audit process and maintain supporting documentation.
• Report on financial income including rental recoveries, letting commissions, and interest earnings.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers and Property Managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and correct transaction processing.
  
  

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience.
• Exposure to property accounting or listed property funds highly advantageous.
• Joint Venture (JV) accounting experience beneficial.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Strong Excel skills, including working with pivot tables.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
