POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
Our client is a well-established property and real estate business with a strong footprint in South Africa. Known for managing a diverse property portfolio, the organisation offers a collaborative environment where finance professionals contribute directly to operational success and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Manage the full month-end process, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, VAT, and statutory requirements
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and manage the audit process
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Support cash flow management and financial planning across property portfolios
- Provide financial analysis to support business and investment decisions

Job Experience & Skills Required :
- Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, tax, and statutory compliance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
- BCom Accounting (essential)
-Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role
Experience within the property, real estate, or asset management industry is advantageous
