Based in Edenvale, this opportunity is suited to a Financial Accountant with completed SAICA articles and 3 to 4 years’ post-article experience. The role sits within a dynamic logistics / supply chain environment where adaptability, resilience, and strong personality are key to success.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the full finance function, working closely with operational teams while ensuring financial accuracy and strong reporting standards. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full financial accounting function
Prepare and review monthly management accounts
Handle budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Oversee reconciliations, journals, and general ledger management
Support operational teams with financial insights and reporting
Drive process improvements and financial efficiency

Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:

BCom Accounting / Financial Management

Experience:

Completed SAICA articles
3 to 4 years’ post-article experience
Experience within logistics or supply chain environment advantageous

Skills:

Strong personality with a proactive, go-getter attitude
Technically strong in financial accounting and reporting
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
