POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
Our client is a well-established, award-winning manufacturing business operating a fully integrated, end-to-end production facility. Known for delivering specialised, high-performance products into heavy industry, the organisation places strong emphasis on quality, operational efficiency, and financial integrity. Reporting to the Financial Manager, this role is suited to a technically strong finance professional who enjoys being close to operations, with a particular focus on inventory, reporting accuracy, controls, and ERP system optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day financial processing and transactions
Prepare and review monthly financial reports and management accounts
Oversee audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Maintain and improve internal controls and financial systems
Manage inventory controls and stock-related financial processes
Support budgeting and provide financial insights to the business

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Accounting / Finance degree with completed SAICA articles
Minimum 5 years post-articles experience, preferably within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax, VAT, and payroll compliance
Proven experience in inventory controls, reporting, and audit processes
Exposure to ERP systems (Evolution advantageous) and advanced Excel skills
Experience with budgeting, stock-driven environments, and operational finance
