POSITION INFO:
Join a dynamic and growing business where finance plays a critical role in driving operational success. This role offers exposure to multiple entities, foreign currency transactions, and a broad financial function, making it ideal for a technically strong and commercially minded accountant.

You will work closely with the Finance Manager and be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and effective cash flow management across the business. The environment is hands-on, requiring someone who is not afraid to get involved in the detail while still contributing to higher-level financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Full general ledger management including journals and reconciliations
Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
Cash flow management and daily forecasting
VAT submissions and tax compliance, including liaising with revenue authorities
Assisting with audits and preparing audit working papers
Managing intercompany transactions and consolidations across multiple entities
Processing payments and maintaining accurate fixed asset registers
Supporting payroll and ensuring accuracy across financial processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

BCom Degree (BCom Honours advantageous)
Completed Articles (non-negotiable)

Experience:

5 – 8 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant / Bookkeeping role
Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments
Strong exposure to full finance function, including tax and audits

Skills:

Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency
Accpac (or similar ERP) experience advantageous
Forex exposure highly beneficial
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
