POSITION INFO:
You’ll be part of a high-performing finance team supporting a dynamic healthcare and pharmaceutical business. This role is ideal for a Financial Accountant who thrives in a structured, compliance-driven environment and enjoys working with complex financial processes linked to large scale operations.

The organisation operates across multiple facilities and service lines, requiring strong financial control, accuracy, and the ability to partner with both finance and operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
Manage month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, VAT, and healthcare regulatory requirements
Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements (AFS)
Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support operational decision-making
Monitor and manage cost drivers, including medical supplies and operational expenses
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Work closely with operational teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Strong financial reporting and IFRS knowledge
Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated environments advantageous
Understanding of cost control and operational finance beneficial
High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
Ability to thrive in a structured, compliance-driven environment
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
BCom Degree in Accounting (essential)
3–5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role
