A respected company within the agricultural manufacturing industry is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join its team based in Johannesburg East.

The organisation specialises in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of crop protection products, servicing a broad agricultural market. The role offers exposure to a fast-paced industry with strong operational involvement and leadership responsibilities, making it well suited to a candidate looking to further develop their management and commercial finance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
Oversee financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting processes
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Manage and guide junior finance team members
Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
Assist with audit preparation and stakeholder reporting

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
SAICA or SAIPA articles completed
Minimum 5 years’ post-articles experience in a financial accounting role
Exposure to manufacturing, agricultural, or product-based industries
Previous leadership or team management experience
Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting systems proficiency
