POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:

You’ll be part of a high-performing finance team responsible for supporting the financial operations of a rapidly evolving FinTech business. This role is ideal for a Financial Accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on problem-solving, and wants exposure to a modern, digitally focused business model.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
Manage month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, VAT, and statutory requirements
Assist with the preparation of Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
Maintain general ledger integrity and support audit processes
Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Assist with cash flow management and treasury reporting
Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives within the finance function

Job Experience & Skills Required :

Strong financial reporting and IFRS knowledge
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
3–5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role
FinTech, Financial Services, Banking, Payments, SaaS, or Technology industry experience advantageous
Exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools beneficial
