POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: You'll be part of a high-performing finance team, supporting the financial reporting and accounting functions of a reputable automotive business. This role is ideal for a Financial Accountant who enjoys working in a deadline-driven environment and has a strong foundation in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports Manage month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, VAT, and statutory requirements Assist with the preparation of Annual Financial Statements (AFS) Maintain general ledger integrity and support audit processes Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on business performance Support budgeting and forecasting processes Assist with cash flow management and financial controls Collaborate with operational teams to support business objectives Job Experience & Skills Required : BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential) 2-3 years' experience in a Financial Accountant role Automotive or Motor Industry experience is essential Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills Sound understanding of VAT, tax, and statutory compliance High attention to detail and strong analytical ability Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills advantageous ERP system experience beneficial Apply now!
