POSITION INFO:
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned finance professional looking to step into a role that combines technical accounting, team leadership, strategic involvement, and operational finance. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business objectives, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and manage the general ledger and financial accounting processes Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Coordinate audit preparation and support audit finalisation processes Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Review and compile daily and monthly financial and operational reports Manage and resolve financial queries and discrepancies Supervise and develop finance team members Assist in implementing the organisation's strategic objectives and financial initiatives Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and financial controls Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: BCom Accounting Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Financial Accountant Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit processes Skills: Extensive experience with Pastel Accounting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong financial reporting and analytical capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Non-Negotiables: Strong leadership and people management abilities Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure Strong planning, organising, and time management skills Knowledge of relevant financial and employment-related legislation Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities Apply now!
