POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity exists for a technically strong Financial Accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a well-established mining organisation. This role offers exposure to financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation and group reporting, making it ideal for an ambitious finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact. If you're ready to take the next step in your finance career, we'd love to hear from you. Duties: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Prepare Annual Financial Statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements. Manage tax compliance, including tax computations and statutory returns. Liaise with SARS, auditors, banks, insurers and tax specialists. Support internal and external audit processes. Ensure compliance with company tax policies and regulatory requirements. Analyse financial information and provide meaningful business insights. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom in Accounting BCom Honours Accounting CTA Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification (essential) Experience: Minimum 5 years' financial accounting experience. Experience within the mining industry. Strong knowledge of IFRS. Extensive South African tax knowledge, including VAT, PAYE and Mining Tax. Experience in financial reporting at both operational and group level.
