Our client is looking for a capable and detail-focused Financial Accountant to join their finance team in Pretoria. This is an opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working across the full accounting cycle, takes ownership of their work and wants to contribute to accurate reporting and sound financial decision-making.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Manage month-end accounting processes, including journals, accruals and provisions. Prepare management accounts, financial reports and supporting schedules. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Assist with VAT, tax, statutory and compliance requirements. Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis as required. Assist with audit processes and contribute to improving financial controls and processes. Minimum Requirements: BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. 3-5 years' experience in a full-function Financial Accountant role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with reconciliations, month-end processes and statutory requirements. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with an ERP\/accounting system. Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
