POSITION INFO:
This established engineering manufacturer designs and supplies specialised equipment into the mining and industrial sectors, where production, projects, costs and margins all need to stack up. You'll join the finance team as a hands-on Financial Accountant, taking ownership of core accounting and reporting while working closely with the wider business to understand what's driving the numbers. For a finance professional who enjoys more than simply processing transactions, this is an opportunity to build solid commercial exposure within a technically driven manufacturing business, and you can get started immediately. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting Manage reconciliations, journals and month-end processes Monitor costs, expenditure and financial variances Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records Support audit, tax and statutory requirements Work with operational teams to improve financial visibility and controls Job Experience & Skills Required BCom Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification Approximately 5 years' relevant accounting experience Engineering, equipment manufacturing, industrial or mining-related manufacturing exposure Solid understanding of full accounting and month-end processes Strong Excel and financial reporting skills Experience working on an ERP\/accounting system Hands-on, commercially minded approach with strong attention to detail Immediately available Apply now!
