POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys combining technical accounting with operational and commercial finance responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and compliance while partnering with business operations to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Ensure compliance with IFRS and SME reporting standards Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Perform variance analysis and financial performance reviews Manage costing and cost accounting activities Support month-end and year-end reporting requirements Analyse operational and financial performance Maintain strong financial controls and compliance standards Assist with audit and statutory reporting processes Provide financial insights to management and operational teams Job Experience and Skills Required Education: BCom Accounting or Finance Studying towards CIMA advantageous SAICA Articles advantageous Experience: Minimum 3-5 years' accounting experience Financial reporting experience essential Strong cost accounting background essential Budgeting and forecasting experience Nursery, agriculture, plant production, manufacturing, or related industry exposure advantageous IFRS and SME compliance experience Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel Financial Reporting Cost Accounting Budgeting Forecasting Financial Analysis Management Reporting IFRS SME Compliance Why Apply?
